Tea Time in Palo Alto - Premier Spot for Authentic High Tea & Artisan Treats

Cutest little tea shop with wide selection of crumpets, scones, and absolutely cute delights. The shop owner was a sweet little man who was so delighted to serve us tea. The waiters were so respectful and helpful. Had a great time sitting outside sipping tea. Loved the Darjeeling and Sweet Peach Teas. My friend and I opted for the Afternoon Special High Tea as a way to try a little of everything. The portions of Finger Sandwiches could be more which the shopowner did take into consideration when I talked with him for a bit. The savory bites were amazing along with the Tomato soup. Portion sizes are definitely petite which I imagine is a nod to the European High Tea. I got to live out my High Tea dreams and was very excited to try everything. Definitely coming back with more friends!

Had a delightful afternoon tea here as a private event. We got the Queen’s tea option. The menu came with 3 different teas and a variety of classic savory and sweet dishes. The host was very kind and explained all of the food items and teas in depth. There was also a gluten free menu for a member of our party that had gluten sensitivity. Highlights include the pumpkin soup and the savory salmon sandwich, and the various cheesecakes and cream puffs were quite good as well.

Excellent service and a great ambiance. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Celebrated my sister's birthday there and they made her feel extra special. The food was excellent and fresh. Made to order sandwiches and scones were wonderful. I really like that the tea was fresh and flavorful. I also bought the Strawberry Rooibus tea home and I am really enjoying it. Overall great experience and I will be back again.

Best Tea time experience in the entire bay area. I cannot emphasize enough how professional and courteous owner, Tim and staff makes you feel. Most amazing selection of savory vs sweet treats. Each compliments the next item. Menu very carefully planned to perfection. This place has the largest high quality tea selections I have ever had to choose from. We cannot wait to go back. I'm already planning our next trip! Absolutely delicious!!

Absolutely loved this place and am already excited to return. Wonderfully friendly and accommodating service and so nice to have a leisurely afternoon, eating treats and sipping tea. A friend and I had never had high tea and this gave us a great first experience! The teas were all brewed so well and paired beautifully with the courses of foods. All the treats were delicious and prepared so well. Highly recommend. Making a reservation was easy over the phone and service was super friendly. Will be back!
